Boston: 3 Days and 635 Miles Away

Well, hello, dear readers. Welcome to A Buckeye in Beantown, my personal space to share all my adventures in Boston this summer. I’m an Ohio girl trying to make it in the big city this summer while I intern in marketing/promotions. I’m so excited to share my stories with you! I plan on soaking up every second of my life in Boston, and I want to let you in on how it goes.

I’ve been to Boston just once so far. I flew in for a final interview for my summer internship. I was in the city for just a few days and got to see some great things. We stuck to the North End for most of our exploring. I saw the Marina…

I loved this wall! What a fun place!

And Quincy Market and the Faneuil Hall area…

My nieces and sister-in-law had a blast showing me around this area and watching the street performers.

And then my nieces insisted that I check out the “hands-on” part of the New England Aquarium…

I’ll be living with my brother, sister-in-law and two nieces this summer. I can’t believe that I move in just a few days. I’m beyond excited, but also really nervous, too. I want to be perfect at my internship. I want to make new friends in the city. I want this summer to be that summer…the one that changes everything.

Well, that’s all for now. It’s my last night in Kent, and there are some pretty serious Stanley Cup Playoff games on right now. I’ll keep you updated as I go through the process of preparing to move!
